   The legendary folk singer and environmentalist Pete Seeger will be celebrating his 90th birthday in a star-studded, one-night-only benefit concert event, on Sunday May 3rd, at Madison Square Garden. The once-in-a-lifetime benefit concert is hosted by the Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a non-profit organization Pete Seeger founded, in 1966, with the aim to “preserve and protect the Hudson River.” The gala evening is set to raise awareness and funding for the Hudson River Sloop organization. The star-studded lineup will feature over 40 artists including: Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews, John Mellencamp, Joan Baez, Kris Kristofferson, Billy Bragg, Arlo Guthrie, Emmylou Harris, Bruce Cockburn, Tom Chapin, Tom Paxton, Scarlet Moore, Steve Earle, Tony Trischka, Eddie Vedder, among many others. The benefit concert is scheduled for 5:00pm with ticket prices of $19.19, $69.50, $94.50, and $254.50. A limited number of special ticket packages are available at $500.00 and $1250.00 with premium reserved seating and a number of special perks.
