Metropolitan Museum of Art Christmas Tree
For more than 35 years, the Met has displayed a blue spruce decorated with a collection of 18th-century Neapolitan angels and cherubs who gaze down upon the intricately carved crèche figures that surround its base. And for the second year running, the museum also displays an 18th century Hanukkah menorah. 1000 Fifth Ave. at 82nd St. (212) 535-7710.
