New York is known for its many talk and entertainment shows.  Below is a list of some of the many shows that you can request free tickets too.  Most of the shows limit the attendees to be 16 or 18 years and older.  If you want to get in, arrive early and bring a valid, government-issued ID with proof of age and address.  Most ticket holders do not guarantee entry since the shows tend to overbook the audience.  Standby tickets are available for most of the shows if you arrive early enough, come during bad weather and are willing to wait around.
